Work
Selected projects delivered through Riverdust. These are the ones I can talk about.
Gousto
eCommerce replatforming and international launchGousto's recipe box subscription had only ever operated in the UK. The business wanted to expand internationally, starting with Ireland, but the existing platform wasn't built for it. Riverdust was engaged to scope and deliver both a replatformed eCommerce backend and a new customer-facing website that could scale to new markets. The project involved leading a cross-functional team through scoping, roadmap definition, and delivery using XP practices. The Ireland launch was Gousto's first market outside the UK and Northern Ireland, and the platform was designed as the foundation for further international expansion.
Eurostar
App rebuild for the Thalys mergerWhen Eurostar and Thalys merged in 2023, the entire digital experience had to be unified — one app, one booking system, one brand. Riverdust provided product management for the mobile app side, covering the rebuild and rebrand to reflect the new Eurostar identity. The challenge wasn't just visual. The app had previously served Channel crossings only. Now it needed to support Thalys routes too — different customer types, different journey patterns, commuters alongside leisure travellers. We launched the rebranded app with feature parity to web, maintained ratings above 4 stars on both iOS and Android, and reduced contact centre load by building better self-service into the app.
Skype
Mobile payments strategySkype had just launched native apps on iPhone and Android, but in-app purchases meant giving Apple and Google a cut of every transaction. In the competitive telecoms market where margins on call credit are tight, that was a real problem. Riverdust defined the product strategy for Skype's mobile web offering, with the central focus on building a payments route outside the app stores. The idea was simple: customers use the Skype app for calls, but come to the mobile site for purchases. We launched skype.com and Skype payments for mobile devices. Mobile payments increased purchases by 400% and mobile downloads via Skype.com increased by 140%. The project also included launching mobile partner sites across APAC with Sony, KDDI, NTT Docomo, and Telkomsel.
Camelot (The National Lottery)
Registration redesignThe National Lottery's online signup process was long and heavy. It required full personal details and payment card information upfront, which created significant drop-off. Riverdust led the product work on a light registration flow that let users sign up with minimal information, collecting the rest progressively as and when it was actually needed. The new process reduced registration time from 15 minutes to 3 minutes and drove an increase of 100,000 new player registrations per month.
T-Mobile
Mobile portal refresh across marketsRiverdust managed the relaunch of T-Mobile's web'n'walk mobile internet portal, adapting it for the shift to touchscreen devices across multiple European markets. This included working with third-party content partners to keep the portal relevant and driving customer data usage, which increased data revenue by 22%.
I've also worked in a product capacity with Vodafone, Ocado Technology, Telefónica, and WorldRemit.
Happy to go into more detail on any of these in conversation.
I'm most interested in digital product work with an international dimension. Apps, consumer platforms, and digital products where the experience genuinely matters. I like complex environments where someone needs to bring clarity and make things move.
Based in London. Open to international work.
